The Stäubli PV-KST4-EVO 2A/6I-UR is the male half of the Original MC4-Evo 2 cable coupler — the connector that terminates solar DC cable in a PV array. It suits 4 mm² and 6 mm² conductor with a cable outer diameter of 4.7–6.4 mm and is approved to DC 1500 V under both IEC 62852 and UL 6703, so it works with modern high-voltage string designs. Stäubli's MULTILAM contact system holds contact resistance below 0.2 mΩ for the life of the connector, which is what keeps joints cool and stops the slow power loss and hot-spot risk that cheap connectors introduce. Sealed to IP65/IP68 when mated, UL94-V0, UV and ammonia resistant. Mates with 32.0316P0001-UR and with the wider MC4 family.
