ifm OI0002 / OIT-FBOA Diffuse Reflection Sensor - M30 Barrel, 700 mm Range, Runs on Any Supply from 20 to 250 V AC or DC
The ifm OI0002 is an infrared diffuse reflection sensor in a rugged M30 threaded barrel housing. It detects objects up to 700 mm away by picking up the light bounced back from the target itself, so there is no reflector or receiver to mount on the far side of the detection point. Its combined AC/DC output stage and two-wire connection let it run directly from anything between 20 and 250 V, which makes it equally at home wired into older mains-powered machinery or a modern DC control panel. Wiring lands on screw terminals inside a chamber that swivels through 90 degrees for easy cable entry, and the output can be set to light-on or dark-on to suit the job.
