SKM50GB12V - SEMIKRON 1200V / 50A IGBT Half-Bridge Power Module (SEMITRANS 2) - low switching loss, high power-cycling capability
The SKM50GB12V is a 1200 V, 50 A IGBT half-bridge power module in the industry-standard SEMITRANS 2 housing. It pairs sixth-generation trench V-IGBT chips with soft-switching CAL4 free-wheeling diodes on an insulated copper base plate made by direct copper bonding, so it switches cleanly at high di/dt while carrying heat away efficiently. An integrated gate resistor simplifies driver design, and the module is rated to 175 C junction temperature with 4000 V AC isolation. It is a proven switching stage for AC inverter drives, uninterruptible power supplies and electronic welding equipment.
